Careershifters is a new social enterprise that helps people find fulfillment in their work by providing inspiration, confidence and connections for career change. The website, Careershifters.org launched earlier in 2007 and is growing rapidly.
My challenge was multi-faceted. As well as creating an identity system that would work well in all media, I was also tasked with the development of simple, online visual style, including the illustration of bi-weekly articles. I also provided standards-based front-end development and created exhibition graphics and promotional business cards.
A core part of the service comes from expert articles written by career coaching professionals. A professional, easy-to-use website was crucial in establishing credibility with potential affiliates early on.
